I saw Claude only once, in the summer of 2025. To me, Claude was not just a symbol of the Academy of Sciences Museum or a favorite citizen of San Francisco, but a rare creature that bore witness to a beautiful, final reconnection. In my heart, that ancient reptile became an unspoken tether, a profound memory linking me to a shared past.

On December 2, 2025, when I heard the news of Claude's sudden death, a part of my heart became empty, and my tears dropped uncontrollably. May you find peace and happiness in a different world where you have bigger space to explore. I believe wherever you are, you will always be the one and only Claude, the alligator, representing the BAYYYYY AREAAAAA!
