The Professional Part

I’m a builder. From Jinan 🇨🇳 to Waterloo 🇨🇦, to Silicon Valley 🇺🇸, I’ve spent the last ten years obsessed with how data moves. I’ve built systems at scale, spoken at conferences, and earned a few patents along the way. Currently, I'm working on AI/BI product with a group of talented engineers at Databricks.

The Personal Part

I collect lives and memories. I’m a dancer, a painter, and a multi-instrumentalist who decided the world needed one more DJ. I’ve jumped off hills (with a paraglider) and over fences (on horse Leo).

I’m fueled by freedom, fueled by the unknown, and occasionally fueled by very good boba.

The Real Part

I’m a big believer in community and "coming home to yourself." Whether I’m volunteering with Food on Foot or hiking with my dog, Skoll, I’ve realized that life is rarely a straight line. I’ve had to rebuild my own world more than once, and I’ve found that the "rubble" is actually a pretty great place to start something new.
